I used an Oral-B Professional Care 5000 Series Smart Smart Guide Electric Toothbrush. I decided to save money and get this. I must admit, I miss the intelligent leadership. This version has a small screen on the toothbrush, but you can not see while you (with a symbol, if you are too hard to point out to wash, brush, is not very useful.) Great Product

I use to have a Sonicare and since it broke I decide to change for Oral-B SmartSeries 4000, I got it a month ago and I am very please with, it has everything I need for my teeth, plus it is very easy to clean, something I can not say about the sonicare. 
I do recomend this product.

Triumph has two long term problems

I own the old triumph (9400), which is exactly the same as this model as far as I can tell. It does not have the wireless timer, but it does have a 30 second timer built into the brush and a smiley face that appears after 2 minutes (it’s not that hard to see in the mirror). 

I’ve used this toothbrush for a couple of years and I have several issues. 
First, the rechargeable battery is not a lithium ion battery. This means that it suffers from a memory effect and really only lasts 10 days for just one person. I minimize the memory effect by fully charging it when it is mostly discharged, rather than storing the handle in the charger every night. 
Second, I recently discovered that the travel charger is prone to overheating. I now have to unplug and replug my charger several times to get the toothbrush to charge. My understanding is this design has not been changed. 
Third, the toothbrush is only really good for the first couple of uses on a new charge. After that it becomes noticeably less effective. 
Fourth, it does not get my teeth as clean as the sonicare that I own. I bought their cheapest model that runs (forever) on double A batteries. That gets my teeth super clean. However, the brush head is not small enough to do a good job on the back of my teeth, which is why I stick to the Oral-b brush. 

On the plus side, the Oral-B brush does do a good job, when I can charge it! I’ve used Oral-b rotary toothbrushes for 15 years and will probably continue to buy them. My dentists agree I need fewer cleanings and my gums are in pretty good condition. I just wish they’d get their batteries and chargers sorted out.

I got my girlfriend this toothbrush as a gift and she loves it. We got another inter-changeable head for it so I can use it too, and it has worked out great. I love the the fact that it times how long you spend on each quadrant of your mouth, so that you spend the recommended time brushing your teeth.

Because of the family heritage and some bad habits start gingivitis. My dentist recommended the Oral-B, and I had the previous version of this brush for years before closing the battery. Since the version was able to remove and replace the battery I had to upgrade. I actually have even killed some damage to teeth and gums with these products. I tried the lower version of the Oral B electric toothbrushes and was not impressed, went to someone else. 

I’m so happy, and I like the documentation is in English, Spanish and French.

Second Time With This Item

I bought this as a direct replacement of the first one, which was recommended by my dentist. It lasted two years before the battery would no longer hold a charge. That wasn’t very good, but I like the way it works, and my checkups have been good since using it – much better than when I was using a manual brush, and that’s the bottom line for me. We’ll see if this one lasts longer. Amazon’s price on sale was about 25% less than Target or Walmart. I find I replace the brush head about twice as frequently (about 6 weeks) as recommended by Oral B. I had been using a Sonicare Power Toothbrush for 5 years before switching over to the Oral-B. This switch was based on the suggestion of my dentist. He feels that the Sonicare just does not work as well as the Oral-B and the upkeep with the Oral-B would be easer. After using the Oral-B for three months, I have to agree with my dentist. The upkeep is much easer as the head of the brush is removable not allowing gunk and mildew to build up inside the handle. With the Sonicare toothbrush, I had to unscrew the head from the handle once a week and using a Q-tip, wipe the inside clean from the buildup. This was quite an annoying task and consumed 15 to 20 minutes each time. With the Oral-B, this is not possible because the thin brush head is removed every time after use and stored within the self contained holder making the clean up very easy. Another point I would like to make, is the brush heads cost much less that the Sonicare ones making this brush more economical to own. All in all, I am very happy I switch to the Oral-B.

I despise the dentist and will do anything I can to avoid him (no offense, Dr.). I have owned a Sonicare and an older generation Oral B electric tooth brush. I have tried every variety of mouth wash (both pre and post brushing) and every variety of dental floss. No matter what I tried I still had a rapid build up of plaque resulting in that infernal scraping every 6 months! 

So, I can speak with authority when I say that the best dental hygiene product ever developed by humanity is this tooth brush. I have been using it now for two months and there is absolutely no signs of any plaque! The same goes for my wife. Our teeth are visibly whiter and feel like we just walked out of the dentist’s office! I had a few “problem areas” around a poorly fitted crown that hurt when I flossed. After a short time that problem area is a problem area no more! 

The toothbrush is also fantastically designed. It really does stay charged for about two weeks (or longer) on a single charge allowing you to completely run out the batteries and switch with the one on the charging base. Not only is this convenient but it extends the life of the batteries. 

The only hurdle I had to jump with this tooth brush is that it is so aggressive that my teeth became temporarily sensitive but this went away after two weeks. 

So, for everyone out there that hates the scraping, BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other features of the dental plans include extra savings on special treatments such as oral surgery, gum treatment, braces, root canals or dental work for children; acceptance of ongoing dental problems; and knowing exactly what amount of discount you will pay.

A dental insurance focuses mainly on preventive dental care, which is why it doesn’t cover preexisting conditions. If you suffer from a condition that originates from before you bought the policy for your dental insurance, you will have to pay for it out of your own pocket, even though you are theoretically insured. Dental plans, however, come with fully included pre-existing conditions. How can you join one of these dental plans? It’s simple. All it takes is that you search your area for a dentist who is participating is such a dental discount plan, and pay the monthly fee to join the plan you have chosen, which, by the way, is a lot less than dental insurance.

The bottom line is that you have options when it come s to finding the best solution to cover the dental problems that you and your family might have. Once you have analyzed both dental plans and dental insurance, I’m sure you will agree that the former are the much better option.
